I work as a recipe developer, food photographer and stylist – usually found in my photography studio and test kitchen in St. Leonards-on-Sea on the south coast of England (fun fact – one of the warmest, sunniest ☀️ places in Britain). I help publications and brands create beautiful, bright, colourful food content for all kinds of media.
I publish colourful, creative vegetarian and vegan recipes on my website, Delicious from scratch. Mostly healthy, sometimes decadent, but always made from scratch.
The site also includes resources for creative professionals, teaching people media and digital skills – food photography and styling, food blogging and web design, recipe development and cookbook publishing.
My first cookbook, How to Cook Halloumi, celebrates this incredibly flexible vegetarian ingredient – see this uniquely delicious cheese in a whole new light! Read the story of how I wrote my cookbook and why I chose self-publishing over traditional publishing.
My upcoming course on food styling teaches people the cooking techniques and styling methods they need to shoot really beautiful food photography. Going live in January 2019!
I worked for many years as a chef in restaurants all over the world, learning how to make all kinds of handmade food, from desserts and pastry in Stockholm to traditional pizza in Rome. I sometimes pop-up at dinners and events, sharing all kinds of vegetarian deliciousness.
